Yes, but absorbing a contract removed part of the value. If MoPete hadn't been involved OKC should have given up more.

As much as I've been wanting a trade back if our guys are off the board, I do have problems coming up with a good one. 9 and 27 or 15 and 19 are the best combination of picks but both leave us relying on the draft falling right to get value equal to 6.

Both of those are bowls of meh. I'd rather just stay put and get a good player, even if he requires some development. Anyone you get later will require development, too.
