Looking to install some LED lighting for night fishing in my boat. Ordered some and got them in and they aren't what I wanted. Wire gauge is so small I don't think they would stand up to much use. Anyone do this and can share a source/input? Thanks

You dont need heavy wire for LED, just make sure it wont get ripped or cut

I added some cheap led waterproof strips to my boat and so far they've worked great. I have catwalks so they were easy to hide but they're pretty good for the price.

Go to eBay, order waterproof 15ft strings, get 5050s or 5630s, they are the brightest. Have them on my boat for the last 3 years and I use it weekly

They draw so little power they don't need heavy gauge wire. My sone just used several strips and all works well!
