You wont need it if you are using it for remote access only but, cmon $100.
If you don't get it, consider getting the Surface Dock if you have monitors and the Surface Arc Touch Mouse.

I usually agree with that logic, but I lost the last iPad after only 4 months by leaving it on an airport bus in a backpack. The iPad before that got water damaged so I'm tired of spending $$ on technology due to being a dumbass.
Thanks to all that offered insight. And yeah, I'll probably spend the extra $$ again......stupid never learns.
