This wasn't some bug that sent back files, your friend watched it happen
Not arguing with you about the passwords, just showing how we thought it happened.
As far as being oblivious to it and watching it happen, the program allows for you to log in to someones computer with or without you present, so it is very likely, actually most likely, the person logged in when we wasn't at the computer or even aware. It would be pretty hard to not notice someone taking over your mouse and doing all of this right in front of you.
