BTW, I am a 38 year insulin dependent diabetic....think there isn't a cure for that?

A cure for your pancreas not producing enough insulin? Like, a single pill that will suddenly flip on the "on-switch" for one of your vital organs?

If you're a type 1, I can understand your frustration.

If you developed your insulin dependence, and are making the above statement, you're what alot of this thread has been about.

Insulin dependent indicates type 1.

I "discovered" the FACT that I was a diabetic at age 19 when an ankle injury was slow to heal and I had the classic symptoms (thirst, peeing all the time, etc).

I developed a dependence? I have NEVER been overweight, NEVER been a big sweet eater, so this JUST HAPPENED....I didn't contribute to this, nor do I contribute to the problem.

Call me a cynic, but I do believe that there is something out there that would end struggle for me...and I don't mean suicide or death.
