This morning I went to Walmart for a bag of briquettes to kill time before Starbucks opening. They had a display of bananas with a sign "60 cents each.'
Ten minutes later I walk into Starbucks. They had a display at the counter with bananas "$1 each."
The bananas looked the same. But the atmosphere at SB is a lot nicer than WM. OTOH while I was sitting in the comfy chair reading the paper at SB I had to deal with the damn fruit flies from their bananas.

Bananas.60 each?
I have not stepped inside a WalMart in 5 years, but I guarantee you that the bananas were .60 a pound. Albertson's and Rouses are .59 a pound.
