Well I never felt withdraws really because the dr that did the surgery was a "deer camp" buddy so I always had a supply. Until about a 2 years ago he started catching heat about his script practices, I started buying on the black market, until I almost got caught. That was about this time last year and I just started drinking myself to death. By then I had put my family in ruins. I would suggest the instant you can get off, do it.

I took a lot of hydro and oxycodone leading up to and after a back surgery in college. I will never understand how I didn't get hooked worse than I was, wanting them but nothing weed or booze couldn't satiate. the high is very strong and to this day I can remember how much I enjoyed it, but now I'm old enough to see how it can completely ruin lives. Not sure what I'll do if I ever have to have major surgery again.
