re: My Non-travel ball playing nephew just made the HS baseball team

I coach a travel ball team. After a few years of being relegated to being an assistant coach through coaches pitch, I wanted to get my kid out for better instruction (thinking all travel ball coaches were top notch). I brought my kid to a try out and left being asked to coach a team. We stress fundamentals of fielding, base running, defensive situations, pitching to contact, and to be accountable to your teammates. It's a lot of fun but can be stressful when dealing with some parents.
