All brewers need those money makers which should allow them to experiment in making a great beer. I can't hate on places like Abita, Covington, etc since people do buy their products but right now it seems only Parish, Great Raft, and Gnarley Barley is trying to make a "great" beer. Other places just seem content to make average beer and well make money, (again nothing wrong with this.)

I agree td and mouth. As beer enthusiasts we want them to make the best beer possible and we think that should be their goal too. Unfortunately they're looking at bottom lines and I'm guessing it would be risky to mix things up. I want to say the brewer from Covington is the bassist from cowboy mouth
