re: So back to this Women's soccer vs Men's soccer debate

I'm really fine with paying the women more. That's not my issue at all. But they should be evaluated in a vacuum, not in comparison to the men. My issue is with one of their arguments, think hope solo was the main proponent, that they deserve more money and exposure bc they "win while the men just show up." And then people who aren't familiar with the realities of international soccer or men's vs women's sports just hear that and parrot it.
