I struggle to understand the ways of the OT, i.e. how this and other posts in this thread don't have infinity downvotes. I can tell you that there is a very real chance that what he received and what is reflected in his official record have discrepancies. Beyond that, why are there anti-seal posts? Even if he did (and that is an if) embellish, what he did for our country cannot be fully encompassed by ribbons and medals. Just some food for thought.

Stop struggling and post on Facebook. Nobody is taking away from anyone's accomplishments but a lie is a lie and he has been caught in several. Why do you hate the truth?

The dude straight up lied about numerous things. He was a human who lied who happened to be in the military and do some pretty incredible things while serving.

We don't have to shite on what he actually did while exposing his lies. We don't have to accept him as a pious figure either.

People of all types of character have jobs in various fields. Being in the military doesn't change that.

Bunch of e bad asses on here who haven't ever done anything and likely never will. They dog on the seals, older generations, and institutions worth my of respect because they think it's edgy. More likely, it's a constant reminder to them that there is something more important and respectable than they are. And that pisses them off.
(Not all posters here are as I described above, but it's easy to note the ones to whom it applies )
