How do I find out how much it's worth and where is the best place to sell it?
Local gun store. Or you can research on the internet. The country of origin and era in which it was made will largely determine your value, here. They're not particularly collectible (with a few exceptions), and you'll even have to figure out if it is all original if it is a rarer ($$$) specimen.
I wouldn't expect to make a lot of money on it. Its worth more as a shooter and a hobby (IMHO) that it will be for it's resale value. Let's put it this way, you're not going to make $1000 on it - probably not $500, depending on what kind.
So, if you inherited it - even if you don't use it, you might want to hold onto it and pass it down to subsequent generations. One of your descendants might value it more highly than you do.
