Again....I don't care what the Michigan Ad says.....It ain't over until they hire a new coach.....if it drags on for some reason....watch out because Michigan is such a high profile job, there is NO WAY they should have to wait 3 weeks to hire someone!!!! The longer they go without making a hire...the more we should suspect Miles is not out of the question. I believe Miles may have decided he's staying but I can see this happening....

Its Jan 8th and for whatever reason, Michigan still hasn't made a decision on its next HC. They have interviewed a few candidates and are close to making a hire but still nothing...then, they decide as a last ditch effort to go after Miles with a smaller offer-but not much...and Miles suddenly has an emotional shift....this would be especially easier if he brings a NC to LSU. Then he could say "its not about the money..and I intended to be here but I have had a change of heart...I have accomplished my goals here and now I would like to accept the challenge of bringing a NC to my alma mater"....

Yes....Michigan, quit dragging your feet and hire a coach.....prove me WRONG!!!!

I think Les has more integrity than that. After the Saban backlash, I do not think he would have come out as angrily as he did before the SEC Championsip game. If he was planning to go there, he would have continued with the charade.

That's the only reason I believe him when he says he was coming back. He became very emotional.

Pathetic. Trust is a real issue for you, eh?

This is like having an ex who cheated, therefore you will never truly trust the one you're with no matter how many times they tell you they love you.

This is stupid that some fans can't trust what Les is saying. Les is not Nick $aban. Does Les have to write it in blood for people to start trusting his word?

Jesus man, what the hell else do you need from Miles to understand the man isn't going anywhere? Furthermore, the rumor is that Michigan can't touch the salary that Miles will be making at LSU after all raises are in place, and Michigan isn't giving Miles the amount of money that LSU is used to hire assistant coaches. And last but not least, Miles has spelled and written out why he is staying on his press conference. You should listen to the whole thing and not the abbreviated version. He actually goes into his conversations in the past with Bo Schembechler(sp) and asking for advice and how he is here to stay and why he is here to stay.

I have to agree with you on this one. A major program like Michigan and this crap goes on. It seems like the ad up there is not all that serious about hiring a coach right now. You would think with recruitng and all he would like to get a coach in there asap. But it does not seem like they are doing what they need to get one in there. I believe les when he says he wants to stay, but have you ever said something and made a promise but then after thinking about it for a while changed your mind and did something else? it does happen and it would not surprise me one bit if this scenario plays out. Like the poster said hire a coach and prove everyone wrong.
