There's literally a ton of things to do in NY. A very beautiful city, I'd never live there, but it's definitely a city you need to see at least once in your life.

We did all the touristy stuff..... 9/11 museum, WTC tour, carriage ride through Central Park, show on Broadway, found a pizza place "off the beaten path" that was great, and went to a Yankees game, took a ride down the Hudson and saw the Statue of Liberty, all in all on of our best vacations and I had a 9 y/o who loved it
