if you can afford it and want to live close to the city just go on HAR.com and look up rentals in 77005,77006,77019, and 77098. Those are the best IMO.
I live in west u which is 77005 and if you have kids its great bc west u elementary is basically a private school and its FREE!!!!
I dont have kids so it doesnt matter to me but great great option, probably one of the best if not the best public elementary school imo

Them property taxes are about as much as private school tuition!!
