Seriously? She was clearly involved in an argument the cops were called on, wielding a fricking cleaver. And you want the cop to move out of her way so she can walk wherever she wants? What if she was still trying to go after someone behind him?

What if she wasn't? We don't know the details surrounding the video, but IF it was feasible to back up and/or get out of the way, that should be the preferred course of action.
If she was going to attack him or someone surrounding him, then the shots are justified. I think we're just discussing alternative measures that MAY or MAY NOT have been feasible.
