re: Austin, TX people: Is Uber/Lyft leaving your town?

Tito's is cheap as hell for as good as it is (it's the well vodka at a lot of places in Austin but it's waaaay better than traditional wells like Taaka or McCormicks), especially here since there's no cost to distribute it and because Tito's themselves subsidize the hell out of it in bars to get people drinking it, plus it's Austin's own vodka, so it's like a patriotic thing to drink it. Also, Tito Beverage himself is a cool cat who a lot of long-time residents have good stories about, so there's significant goodwill for them.

As far as the local flavored Vodkas go - get you some Deep Eddy. Their cranberry and grapefruit are ridiculous and are my go-tos for some of my favorite simple summer cocktails.
