I went of for the hard top because my 4 door is a third vehicle for the wife and I. I got a power hoist-a- top for the garage and it works well. We watch the weather closely when the top is off and I bought an emergency top for about $100 in case I get stuck.

Hardtop is nice in the winter. I put mine back on around Oct or Nov every year and take it off in Mar or Apr. I have a Bestop frameless soft top and it is very easy to take off alone. I also have a hand crank hoist for removing and installing the hardtop. Makes it a one man operation. Sometimes I'll get my brother in law to drive over though. Really quick work with two people. I would like a set of half doors for the summer but I'm not giving up full doors for them.
