Worth every penny
If you have any sort of garage or over-hang, this easy kit allows just about anyone to remove the hard top alone and in a matter of minutes.

you need both. If you really want to enjoy a jeep as it is intened, buy both. I have both and the hard top only goes on November-February. Hunting Season. Soft top is easy to put up and down in no time at all at any locaation. Rain has not been a problem and mine is a 2007 model.
you can buy the winch and hoist but if you are out someplace and it rains, then prepare to get wet.
