Danny was such a piece of shite that I was glad to know he died sometime soon. The whole cast is great though. Watched season 1 again this weekend to get ready.

Disagree with that. Without knowing he would die, you probably would not have rooted for him. It created that mixed dynamic of feeling sorry for him and hating him right from the get-go.
