Drove from WA State to San Antonio with a 1 year old, in addition to a 8 and a 6 year old. My thing was to only drive for 8/9 hours per day. However, the stretch from Mt Home, ID to Cheyenne, WY was a tad longer, and the 1 year old let us all have it for about 30 minutes before she passed out 
We were about 30 miles from Cheyenne, and she just went bonkers.
