a few come to mind...
a couple of beautiful cypress lakes would be Spring Bayou and Cocodrie lake.
Another option would be to put in at indian creek at the free landing on the back side of the lake (H Strange Rd, I think) and paddle the coves in that area...

Thanks for the tips! I checked out cocodrie and looks like we'll be heading there this weekend!
