We were in 1st for a good bit of the year and finished 3rd. Thats competiting. Its hard to win conference though being in a conference with Kentucky. A&M had a senior laden team which included former 5 star players. That and Kentucky had a down year.

Would have been the best coached big on the team next year.

Finished 3rd but probably had the best talent in the country and certainly lost a few games we should now have. I'll give you that we did ok in conference but the eye test was certainly disappointing. Especially with arguably the best player in the country.

Losing by 30+ in the conference tournament isn't competing for tournament championships - that's for sure.
