You do realize we weren't getting out of this financial mess with tax cuts alone right?
Taxes were going to be raised no matter who was in office.

Some people actually don't realize this. Because the state doesn't have a diversified economy we have all our eggs in basically two baskets, the oil and gas industry and tourism. Oil and gas tanked and crippled LA's economy.

Yup it's called economic growth. Speaking of which, you do know that business don't have to stay in a state with high corporate income taxes right? You do know that citizens can leave for states with lower/ no income taxes right? You do know that we can choose to buy stuff elsewhere as opposed to paying inflated sales taxes right? Of course you do!
