Pole pole would help alot, I'm just a little tired of adding weight in my boat. She doesn't float too skinny already. I'll have to look into it. The micro would work, but only in that exact application. I would need the bigger one for regular use.

I hear ya. They weigh less than 30 lbs total. I put the pump in my center console to offset the weight of the pole on the back. I figure it has no affect on draft with my last two boats. But I'm not running a poling skiff anymore either. It's all a compromise.
