Business fashion hasn't changed much but casual fashion has changed a great deal. The 90s was big jeans and colorful jackets. No one wears windbreakers any more let alone the ones that looked like a rainbow. Watch any old sports game from the 90s and get a kick out of what the crowd is wearing.

People dressed much more respectably back then. Even the poors. Today, there's no embarrassment or stigma for dressing like a freak.
