I use it. Yes, you want to match the "actual final water adjustments" line with salts as close as you can to the "target finished water adjustments" line. And of course input your water report numbers into the "water report input" tab so it can adjust off of those numbers if your not using RO and DI.

I'm playing around with some random water profiles just seeing what I might need. If I pick the pale ale profile, I need to add almost 19 grams of gypsum to the batch. That seams like a lot, but seeing as how I've never really played with water, I don't really have a frame of reference.
