If you're commenting on the fact that he's never been a DC, I see your point. If you're speaking of his inability to coach, I suggest you take note of the following:

Chicago Bears D-Line coach, LSU D-Line coach, Minnesota D-Line coach.

Can't argue with those results. Plus, I think he was the best recruiter on the LSU staff while he was here.

I know he doesn't have DC experience, but that's the only drawback for me. He's proven solid in all other aspects of coaching duties.
