why do we have to pay anything to keep him?
If we can trade him and get back good value, do it. If we can't, and he wants $20+ million, let him walk.

I really don't see him commanding $20+ million.
He's not CP3, Westbrook, Curry, Lillard or Irving.
$15 million is about the max someone of his caliber should get.
Unless he's your best player, a PG or a center should not make anywhere near the max b/c they are just role players.
the 2, 3 and the 4 are the money positions, imo

This is my point, its not what he's worth. He will easily get 16 mil in the open market its what it will cost us to keep him with no valuable options to replace him. Asik wasn't worth 11 mil but it was the price we paid to not have a hole at C. So Jrue can set his asking price at,18-20 mil or he'll say he will walk to a better situation for him then we're left with a hole at pg.

Frazier and Ish played well at PG, and like i said in my previous post, if Jrue was that good, why was our record terrible this year with a healthy AD/Jrue/Ryno?

I don't think he has that much to stand on right now after this year. Now if he goes next year and plays 70+ games and averages 18 and 7 or something similar and we improve greatly, then he might have a leg to stand on. Right now, he doesn't have much too positive to say about himself other than the relative health he had this year.
