I agree but its just an example. It come down to how much are you willing to pay to keep Jrue?

If he can prove that he's healthy next season, he's a 20 mil player.

A lot.

He's a top 10 pg easily. Top 5 when he's on a roll.

And he actually plays defense. Creates for AD better than anyone on the team.

So yeah, I'd pay a lot.

If we can trade him and get back good value, do it. If we can't, and he wants $20+ million, let him walk.

I really don't see him commanding $20+ million.
He's not CP3, Westbrook, Curry, Lillard or Irving.
$15 million is about the max someone of his caliber should get.
Unless he's your best player, a PG or a center should not make anywhere near the max b/c they are just role players.
the 2, 3 and the 4 are the money positions, imo.
