Classic example of "identity crisis".

At first, it was quality simple food (pizza, calzones, and sandwiches) at a fair price. They started to introduce Italian restraunt food at a higher price and nicer (read expensive) locations and when the bill showed up you said "man, I could have eaten at Gino's for that price."

Then you franchise without an identity and BOOM, there goes the chain.

On a side note, Louis is a good guy with a good heart and passion but the place got lost.

Would have never guessed it would turn out to be this way. Thought they would be a mainstay in and around Baton Rouge for years. After all, it did start here in 1991. Funny how a great thing 10-12 years ago ends up being a washed up afterthought.
