You're riding high on Whiteside now, but come on man, it took impending FA, a benching(to the ghost of Am'are), and trade rumors to get him to tighten up.

And to be fair, I don't think anyone argued Whiteside isn't a top 5 talent at C. He liked to block shots even though it hurt his team defense and he was a head case to start off.

You can't deny a talent like that Ron. People thought he was raw but anyone that actually has watched the guy knows he has the skill to be a 20/12 player. As an inexperienced, immature player, he just needed some guidance.
