I'll admit that having having two loving parents who instilled a will in me to work hard is a privilege, but it's not something I attribute to my race. I plan on doing the exact same thing for my son. I sure as hell don't feel guilty about it. People grow up in less than ideal situations all over the world, and yes it's a shame...I wish no one had to. I have control over raising exactly one person on this planet and I do everything in my power provide a nurturing environment. Sue me if that's wrong.
