Honestly, I watched the hit and run video over and over, and although I'm pretty sure he bumped into him, it was in no way a 'bad' collision...
All legal bullshite and posturing aside, this whole frickig thing is senseless and should have NEVER happened

It certainly wasn't bad. In fact, I'd suspect there would be minimal if any damage.
However, one important aspect is that Smith's attorney plainly stated that there was no hit and run. That's clearly false. And, it brings into question the validity of his detailed description of the events that unfolded after the initial hit and run.
If the shooting went down like Smith's attorney described, obviously there isn't much to argue about. However, how can you accept his statements when you are able to prove that some of them are clearly false.
