A couple of months ago my dad had an accident during the night that required stitches. He waited until morning so as not to inconvenience the ER staff. You're welcome.

A couple of years ago I was coming home around midnight, slipped on ice, rolled my left ankle, then fell on top of it.
I hoped it wasn't broken and waited until the morning to go to the doctor (not hospital or ER) to have it checked. Woke up, drove myself to the nearest doctor (hospital was farther away) using my bad ankle to operate the clutch.
The nurses were flat out rude because I didn't have an appointment and they forgot about me in the room after taking x-rays. After more than an hour the doctor comes bursting in the room in a panic because he didn't realize nobody had attended to me and my ankle was badly broken. At this point it had been around 8 hours since I had broken it (and used it to operate a clutch) so I was in quite a lot of pain.
Long story short, I go to the ER now when shite like this happens.
