hey guys, this is embarrassing to ask, but i'm a bit worried. i've been going over the paperwork for this jeep and it has a "Rebuilt" status on the title. Which my research tells me it's been salvaged and "refurbished". eh, not really a big deal at first since it's going to be a "beat around" type of vehicle.
well, it was issued as a "rebuilt" title in Ohio and then registered in Texas (i currently have the Texas title). will there be an inspection process for when i go to get it registered in alabama or is the hard part done? will i be able to get a tag just like any other vehicle with a "clean" status?
I should've done more research on the front end, but you live and learn...

I don't think Alabama does inspections. At least I've never had one. You show up with the proper documentation and you can get a tag/title. Even if that documentation is forged and as fake as can be. As long as it looks right to the highly motivated government worker you're good to go.
