So all of the lawyers and judges and court employees he's interacted with are going to forget he was Jimmy? I guess it will just be widely known. You can't really stop someone from changing their name.

I'd say it's more of who would recognize/ remember a measly public defender outside of the court house.

I think in BB he says his name is officially McGill when Walt and Jesse first meet him. When they were getting Badger out of jail.
