when you get the stuff in the little keyboard comes with a small usb wireless thing in the battery compartment. Plug that into the side usb port on the box and the keyboard will work that way. Took me a while to figure that out

thanks for the heads up. I hope Kodi doesn't buffer on this like it does on the stick.
