Lmao u act like u have been knowing Smylie Kaufman for 8 years... My guess u never who him until yesterday but ur his biggest fan cause he went to LSU lmao... The ones that know golf and know what type of history Spieth is after will pull for Spieth.... The ones who don't know anything about golf and are just watching cause they read on TD that Smylie Kaufman played at LSU just need to stop it... But you are wrong. I knew who he was before yesterday. I'm not a huge fanboy of his but rooting for Spieth over someone who went to your alma mater makes no sense. No offense but i have a feeling you didn't go to college so i don't expect you to understand.

Believe it or not, there are LSU fans who are fans of more than just the football team. We care about the baseball team, golf team, gymnastics team, track and field, etc. We care about the school and it's athletic department as a whole, and as a result, we know the players for each of the individual sports. And when these players go on to excel after college, that's good for LSU. So believe it or not, some of us absolutely have known about Smylie for years.
And you talk about what spieth winning can do for the game of golf. What about what Smylie winning can do for LSU? Everyone knows Spieth went to UT, and Fowler went to ok st, and Bubba to UGA. Smylie has a chance to rep LSU on golf's biggest stage.
