I am not good at subtlety or manipulation, so I might approach things differently than most. I would tell her that I am a superficial person person and her looks matter to me. Tell her that if she wants to make a commitment to looking good, you'll do everything you can to help her with the time, effort and money it takes. Tell her if she doesn't want to make the commitment to her looks, maybe you two should reevaluate the future of your relationship, i.e. call call it quits before it's too late.
