Whats to ignore about Chris Jackson and Shaq? They were great but Chris Jackson got handled by Kenny Anderson in the tournament. Shaq never did anything in the tournament. John Williams, Ricky Blanton, Glen Davis, and Tyrus Thomas all played better than Shaq or CJ in the tournament. Did they need "generational talent"? No. They were all great players but talent, especially in college, is not the only way to predict success.

So was Shaq a once in a generation player?

He's a once in a lifetime player. Do I need to look that up for you too?

Are you capable of answering a simple question:

Was shaq a once in a generation player?

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Shaq set the NCAA tournament record for blocks in a game: 11. He also had a measly 26/12/4 to go along with that.

Shaq played in 5 tourney games, and had at worst a double double in each of them.

He averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds. I'm sure he added a block or two (or 11) to go along with that.

you are a 'Once in a Generation' idiot

you think you can semantically define an ambiguous phrase and i'll agree with it, so you can prove something, i dont know what.

i've said many times, LSU plays like a collection of draft picks and hyperbolic talent instead of a team and the media and athletic department encourages that, every year.

Do you understand how phrases work? Look up the definition for once in a lifetime, where the phrase originally comes from, and use that little brain of yours.

Tell me more about how Shaq never showed up in the NCAA tournament

And I'm the idiot?

And regardless of your perception, both Fournette and Mathieu got hammered by Bama, like it or not

Mathieu was 2-1 against Alabama as a player, but yeah ok.

Adrian Peterson was "hammered" by USC in 2004. I'm not sure how that's relevant to his individual talent, so why do people constantly bring up Fournette's performance against Alabama? It's a freaking team sport, the ultimate team sport. I will never understand why people will single out one player against one team and use that as a measuring stick for his worth as a player.
