Iceland. Book far enough in advance with WOW air and you can definitely fly two people roundtrip for <$1500. Food is expensive once there, but the best way to see Iceland is to drive around and camp so you can save money on food by cooking your own meals. If you're outdoorsy, I highly recommend it.

I bet Iceland is awesome. The pictures I've seen look stunning.
And no threat of Zika virus. If you are traveling with your SO and y'all plan on getting pregnant soon....you should pay attention to where this virus is popping up.

Iceland would be an option if WOW air flew out of New Orleans. (maybe he lives in New York and can fly WOW)
