Like I said, I don't think its bout law breaking at all. It's about inconvenience motorist and putting a larger burden of responsibility. As a driver if you're not paying attention and hit/kill a cyclist, you could actually go to jail. Not just be ticketed for hitting a car, but actual jail. Not to mention the 30 seconds it may cause on the commute to wherever the person is going.

Cyclists that want it both ways are equally as illogical.

this is part of my problem. Not really worried about jail just the fact that I could kill someone

This wouldn't be a big issue except when a cyclist is on something like essen or bluebonnet it can frick traffic up for longer than 30 seconds.

I have thought about biking to work if I worked close enough to do it, but it would all depend on what roads I have to take. I wouldn't want to ride on a major road and cause people to back up, it is a safety issue and I just don't like being an arse that delays others.
