Most ski slopes offer rentals and lift tickets to ride down.

Yeah, you can rent and I definitely would so you have a nice full suspension bike. I do more biking further west in Fruita and Moab than Colorado, but there are still some good trails around Golden and Boulder. Download mountain bike project on your smartphone or check out the website and familiarize yourself with it
