The best is probably Pandemic.
For kids - Forbidden Island and/or Forbidden Desert. Pandemic-light essentially.
I like Flash Point and it's many expansions.
Is terrifyingly hard and some of the imagery is graphic. Depends on the age of your kids.
If your kids like comics - Legendary Marvel Deck-Building is way fun. I'd also invest in Hanabi for like $10.

have you played? I've heard good things just seems like it would get boring, but I have never played co-op games so don't know.
