Larranaga is winning at Miami in the best conference in the country. He's good.

Roy Williams is not a good example, but point taken. Kansas and North Carolina are legacy programs. He took over Kansas after Larry Brown got them on probation, and Brown's last team wasn't very good outside of Manning. And at North Carolina, people forget that Guthridge and Doherty were so bad they almost wrecked the program.

How did Guthridge almost wreck the program? He coached there 3 seasons, had 2 final fours and an 80-28 record

Yeah they almost wrecked unc's program. They left it in such terrible shape that Roy won a title with the players Doherty left for him.

But yeah I mean Doherty was gonna frick everything up even worse. Just saying he didn't leave the cupboard bare
