Without the internet, Peazey, I think you'd be surprised how quickly you'd go insane. It is absolutely social interaction, which I think undermines the OPs original question really. I don't think anyone here would last 3 weeks with no social interaction, and that includes TV.

TV doesn't count. Internet would. But I'm not even getting to all that. Think of history and times before all this technology. There were plenty of times where people had to go more than a week without seeing people. It's impractical to think they were all cracking. A week is hardly any travel time if you are walking or riding a horse for example. A lot depends on an individual's personality, but a week really isn't much time. It's when you are looking at a few months alone that I'm guessing mental health becomes an issue.
