Just wondering if any of yall have any real world numbers of the impulse 31 as I have an extremely short DL I was wondering speed numbers. I am not a speed junky but I do need a little speed to compensate for the short DL. Any info helps thanks.

I've owned15 Elite bows since 2008, and still own 3 .... never chased speed as I like smoooothness and a solid back wall
If your bow is properly tuned and arrows in spec, then the published velocity numbers should be close, maybe 2-3 fps slower. When shooting a 60# bow, you need to deduct 2-3 fps from the 70# fps numbers . You can also pick up a few fps with a new cable slide and keeping the cable guard / rod clean
my suggestion, find a bow technician who knows how to properly tune an Elite and get the bow set up for your exact DL using a draw board
here's the elite link for the Impulse 31 LINK

I would go with the e32 if I were you. You would not be giving up much velocity but the draw on the e32 is much smoother due to the longer brace height. I will give up velocity any day it helps me shoot better and has a smoother draw.
