Who is the last recruit LSU got from California except Hayden Rettig? I can't even remember one. Cassius Marsh was committed for a bit and ended up being a pretty good player at UCLA.

An offensive linemen that went to a juco school in Cali was at LSU for a couple years but I forget his name though

Biggest hurdle I think LSU will face is I've read him mention the importance of academics and he's thinking about pre-med, bioengineering, and entrepreneurship. That's the reason Stanford and UCLA are high on his list.

With the talent pool in Louisiana and the Southeast it's just a bad waste of time to fly to California when you might lose out on stud within driving distance. I trust Aranda and Orgeron recruiting abilities though.

He had a year of eligibility left, so I figured he would be back. I had no idea he graduated. It's probably better he left and won't count against the 85 with all the young guys hungry for playing time.
