I use one on my crankbait rod. Light as a feather, great line management, smooth as hell and casts a mile. Probably my favorite of all my reels.
Get the inshore version. The other models aren't really made for saltwater.

I was hoping no one would tell me that lol. I like the brake system they have on the pro. The inshore bb1 looks like it is different and not as easy to adjust. I don't know why they did that. And looking at the specs, I don't see a huge difference in material used for the two reels. The main plus I see is the three drain holes on the inshore so you can soak it in fresh water. Thing is, I don't plan on surf fishing it so not sure how big of an advantage that would be. Am I missing something with this line of thinking?
